Meeting people online has now increased because of social networking structure but the connection is not just based on coincidence. These are people who need connections with the people other than they already know in real life as there are many aspects in which people around the world connect with each other, like social causes, political issues, or just out of curiosity.

The social networking structure just described is an external form of social network wherein users are free to create profiles and share their profiles with others. There is another form of social networking, namely the internal social networking or ISN, which is usually a small social network which is exclusive in nature and it requires a new user to be recommended first by an existing member of the network to gain approval for access.

There are various mathematical models on which social networking structures of websites in India and abroad are but it is more important that the site is more user friendly rather than based on a complex mathematical model.
